The Sanguine Isle

This game is a classic dungeon crawler with a low power level and monsters based on Celtic, Norse, and Slavic mythology. It’s roughly the year 500 AD, on a fictional island off the coast of Ireland, where an isolated populace struggles to survive against dark powers.

It features a simple conflict resolution system (just roll under a target number on a d20), but has robust character creation. Instead of choosing a mage, cleric, or thief at character creation, simply pick the features you want to invest in as you level up. It also uses a unique Stat Dice mechanic, where your stats directly determine things like your Hit Die and you Damage Dice.
